Men's Clothing Care Guide

1. Cotton & Linen Garment Care

Cotton and linen fabrics are breathable and comfortable, making them the most common materials in men's clothing. Proper care can significantly extend the life of your garments.

Daily Cleaning

Hand wash or machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle. Avoid hot water washing, which can cause shrinkage or distortion.
Use a neutral detergent and avoid products containing bleach or strong alkaline agents that could damage the fabric or cause fading.

Drying & Storage

After washing, gently squeeze out excess water or blot with a towel. Avoid wringing forcefully to prevent deformation.
Air dry in the shade whenever possible. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can cause fading or fiber damage.
Store folded neatly or hung on a hanger in a well-ventilated, dry space to prevent mildew.

Usage Precautions

When ironing, use a medium heat setting and iron on the reverse side of the fabric to protect the surface.
Avoid washing with dark-colored garments to prevent color transfer.

2. Wool & Knitwear Care

Wool and knitted fabrics offer excellent warmth and a refined texture. They require more delicate care to maintain their shape and feel.

Daily Cleaning

Hand wash is recommended in water no warmer than 30°C using a specialist wool detergent. Gently press and squeeze — never scrub or wring.
If machine washing is necessary, select the wool/delicate cycle and place the garment in a laundry bag for protection.

Stain Treatment

Treat stains immediately: gently blot with a clean dry cloth without rubbing, to prevent the stain from spreading or damaging the fibers.
For stubborn stains, use a specialist wool stain remover and always test on an inconspicuous area before full application.

Drying & Storage

After washing, lay flat to dry to prevent stretching or distortion. Do not hang.
Store folded; cedar balls or moth repellent sachets can be placed nearby to protect against moths.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading.

3. Leather & Faux Leather Garment Care

Leather garments are prized for their durability and timeless style. With the right care, they retain their luster and texture for years to come.

Cleaning & Routine Maintenance

Regularly wipe the surface with a soft dry cloth to remove dust and smudges.
For more stubborn dirt, use a specialist leather cleaner applied with a soft cloth, then wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Avoid any products containing acids, solvents, or corrosive agents.

Leather Conditioning

Apply a leather conditioning oil or nourishing wax once per season to keep the leather supple and lustrous, and to prevent cracking.
In humid environments, regularly apply a waterproofing spray to strengthen moisture resistance.

Usage Precautions

Avoid prolonged exposure to strong light or heat sources, which can cause discoloration or cracking.
Store on a wide-shouldered hanger in a well-ventilated area. Avoid folding, which can cause permanent creases.
If the garment gets wet from rain, allow it to dry naturally. Do not use a hair dryer or place near a heat source to speed up drying.
